MB Whitcomb lives in Nova Scotia Canada in a loving relationship with her husband David Hayes Quimby, also a photographer and gifted tradesman.  She is a generalist designer, writer, and photographer.  She has designed numerous gardens, and served as a technical adviser to the Miami Japanese Garden.  

Her photography has been on a book cover, in a major newspaper, and several magazines world-wide.  

She often donates her work to non-profit organizations, and is currently working on compelling images to promote complex science to a wider audience.  She and her husband pursue taking personal responsibility to be a positive rather than negative presence in nature.  Full CV on request.
